Inuyasha (犬夜叉?) The full title InuYasha, a Feudal Fairy Tale (戦 国 御 伽 草 子 犬夜叉, Sengoku Inuyasha Otogizōshi?) Is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. This is the first time in the Weekly Shonen Sunday, November 13, 1996 and expiring June 18, 2008. The series follows a journey through time high school student, half-demon, a libertine, Monaco, a fox demon, a demon slayer, and Nekomata during the Sengoku period as they try all the fragments of the jewel of four souls to discover the hands of evildoers, especially Naraku.
The manga was adapted into two anime series produced by Sunrise. The first, for the 167 episodes broadcast Yomiuri TV in Japan of 16 October, 2000 to September 13, 2004, was directed by Masashi Ikeda of the forty-four episodes and Yasunao Aoki for the rest. The second series is called Inuyasha: The Final Act, began broadcasting October 3, 2009 following the manga series to cover, and is still ongoing.
